What We Do
Women are increasingly leading and participating in climate change action, spearheading initiatives for sustainable farming, water management, disaster preparedness, and advocating for policy changes, while also promoting gender equality and secure livelihood
Women in Climate Change is a non-profit organization that brings together all women working in the climate change action space in Uganda and across international borders. Our aim is to build each other’s capacities and competencies to leave no one behind as we strive to achieve a climate resilient and low -carbon pathway.
This organization encourages the sharing of ongoing and planned activities for capacity enhancement, sharing updates on ongoing discussions in the national, regional and international climate change sphere, plus the sharing of opportunities for collaborative action against climate change.
